The African Centre for Justice and Peace Studies (ACJPS) has expressed major concerns over the deteriorating humanitarian situations in Darfur, specifically in areas currently under the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) control. In a report covering the period from July to September 2024, ACJPS documented a significant increase in human rights abuses against civilians across four states.

The report highlighted a series of grave violations, including forced displacement, arbitrary arrests, and instances of gender-based violence, against hundreds of civilians. ACJPS calls for immediate international intervention to protect civilian rights and restore security in Darfur. The organization urges the global community to address these abuses and to ensure accountability for the ongoing violence against civilians in Darfur.
